The owner and his wife of Newberry Books gave us a bunch of cherry blossom branches a couple of days ago, and now they are fully blossoming! Spring has come to the bindery! It reminds me of my parents house which is located by a stream with a long row of cherry blossom trees. I don't think they are in season yet as I heard that they had an extremely cold winter there.
Looks wonderful MHR, probably smell wonderful too... Best wishes, Jacek
ReplyDeleteWhat is your name please???
Jacek, I think Miss MHR prefers to keep this private. It's still a lovely blog though - go take a look!
DeleteHi Jacek,
DeleteI just e-mailed you my name. :-) And yes, I do prefer to keep myself anonymous on the internet. A mystery bookbinder!
Very sorry MHR, and thank you so much for your nice email...
DeleteLovely - so pretty! We have lots of blossoming trees in the village just now. In our own garden, the new little plum tree is covered in small white blossom, but the pear and apple trees are not out yet. Spring is on its way here (but we were lucky and had a very mild winter!). I hope your parents soon have warm sunshine, with cherry blossoms to make them smile!
ReplyDeleteHi Lizzie,
DeleteAhhh, it must be beautiful during spring there! Just imagining those blossoming trees and flowers in your garden made me forget the rain here! (my region is famous for its rain.. AND short but exquisite spring and summer.)I haven't actually seen the cherry blossoms in front of my parents house for over a decade... Just on the pictures that my father sends me every year.
